The Ford Team finished its season this past weekend in Mammoth, CA, the site of the National Championships. And what a weekend it was with Dara Marks-Marino taking sliver in the XC and STXC events, and a bronze in the Super-D. Sara Bresnick took 10th in the Short Track after a crash on the last lap to cap her first season with Ford. Both she and Lisa Matlock also competed in the XC event both finishing in the top 20. Sara is off to get married this coming Saturday, then to a honeymoon in Hawaii, no bikes allowed...

We're all looking for a bit of time off before we regroup for Iceman which is really just an excuse for us to all have a bit of my birthday cake. At the same time, Melanie will be going for her second Xterra World Champion ship in Hawaii. (We'll be thinking of her while we freeze our buns off here in Northern Michigan!)

In January, the team will again re-group to kick off the 2005 season.
